TANCESRAZ: Kristýna Černá — How to say no
In the creative world, it can be difficult for us to say NO: we don’t want to disappoint anyone, miss out on an opportunity, or get into a conflict. Kristýna Černá’s lecture will focus on how to maintain our own boundaries, say no, and recognize pressure or the influence of authority early on. We’ll also look at the principles of empathetic confrontation and briefly touch on manipulation. Using specific examples from the dance and creative fields, we’ll explore ways to say NO respectfully—even in moments when we’re afraid of disappointment, conflict, or a missed opportunity.
